All golfers are required to complete 18 holes in no more than 4 hours and 15 minutes (or 2 hours and 10 minutes for 9 holes) and to keep pace with the group in front of them. Our golf course has been given a pace of play rating of 4 hours, therefore, all golfers should comfortably complete a round in the time allotted, including rounds played in tournament competition. With your cooperation, our goal is to insure every member a pleasant golfing experience. Ranger Course of Action
If a group has fallen behind or fails to keep the pace of play, they will be instructed to pick up the pace and resume their proper position on the golf course.
Rangers and other golf course officials are required to enforce all Rules and Regulations, especially any pace of play violations. Failure to comply may result in delayed or denied tee time, suspension or other such penalties deemed appropriate by the Golf Commission. Repeat offenders will be referred to the grievance committee that is empowered to take additional punitive measures, as it sees fit. Suggestions To Speed Play1. New golfers or high handicappers should play from the front tees. 2. All players should spot the hitter's ball. 3. Study your line of putt while others in your foursome are preparing to putt. 4. Continue putting until holed out. 5. Minimize practice swings. 6. On par 3's, any player who can't reach the green should hit when ready. 7. Park carts behind or toward the rear of the green so that when you putt out you will be moving away from the field of play. 8. Take more than one club to the ball including when looking for a lost ball. 9. Scorecards should be marked on the next tee, not on the green. 10. Low handicapper is responsible for achieving time goals and keeping up with the group ahead. 11. Your place on the course is behind the group in front of you, not in front of the group behind you. 12. When in doubt, hit a provisional ball. Eliminate the need to go back to where you hit your last shot. 13. Limit your search for a lost ball to no more than five minutes. Play ready golf.
